Kate Moss' First Diet Coke Campaign As Creative Director Is Here

Kate Moss' Diet Coke cans are inspired by — wait for it! — her own fashion archives.

Kate Moss was named creative director of Diet Coke earlier this month, a chic and fitting role for the model, as well as the brand, which has long had an association with easy glamour.

“When I designed my new Diet Coke by Kate Moss Limited Edition Collection, I was inspired by my favorite looks worn over the years – and how good they made me feel at the time,” Moss said in a press release.

The cans are inspired by Moss’ fashion archives, which include black lace, leopard, camouflage and denim. Each can is adorned with Moss’ signature along with an illustrated version of each fabric on the bottom right hand of the can.Diet Coke
“Each design captures a moment I’ve loved – every piece holds a special memory for me and still lives in my wardrobe,” Moss said. “It’s been great to revisit this, as part of the celebrations for Diet Coke’s 40th birthday.”Diet Coke

Moss and Diet Coke tapped some other fashion heavyweights to assist with the design, working with make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench and director Quentin Jones. Diet Coke
“We really wanted to convey the coming together of these two icons and pay homage to Diet Coke’s 40th birthday by introducing influences from some of the big decades – eighties, nineties, and noughties,” Jones said in a release.Diet Coke
