Michelle Obama Wore Sparkly Thigh-High Balenciaga Boots And We're Weeping

Not many people can pull off a sparkly boot with elegance and grace. And when they're thigh-high level, welp, that list becomes even shorter.

BUT when former first lady (and forever first in our hearts) Michelle Obama walked out onto the stage at Barclays Center last night in head-to-toe Balenciaga, the world stopped. Not only did she stun in a floor-length yellow silk wrap dress with a high slit, but she was also donning the most gloriously sparkly, holographic, literally perfect thigh-high boots, solidifying her reign as a fashion icon.

With the holidays just around the corner, there's really no more appropriate shoe in existence to be worn. Let's take another look:
