Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown can now add eyewear designer to her résumé. On February 10, the actress launched her first capsule collection with Vogue Eyewear, complete with both prescription frames and sunglasses.
"I am so excited to be collaborating with Vogue Eyewear on my first eyewear collection. Vogue Eyewear is all about fun, exciting and fashion forward style – it's a great match!" Brown said in an official statement. "This collection is designed to appeal to every girl, no matter the current trends, and also be affordable and accessible."
The collection features '90s-style designs, including skinny, tinted red frames as well as unique shapes and colors, like a pair of turquoise-rimmed round glasses. The launch coincides with a set of "rules" released by Brown, like "Love Yourself," "Be Kind," "Keep it Real," "Laugh Out Loud," and "Chase Your Dreams."
In a recent interview with InStyle, she spoke about the pressure she faces when it comes showing her own style:
I have to take into consideration my 31 million followers. It's very difficult, I want to always remain appropriate for my age but still having fun and still [evolve], and that's a really difficult balance. I started in the industry when I was 8-years-old and got into the spotlight when I was 10. Then, I wasn't into the whole heel [and] crop top situation. I wore my Converse and, you know, comfy clothes. Now I'm definitely more into the crop top, the heels, I love my fancy dresses. I love pushing the boundaries but remaining sophisticated.
Brown now joins a list of famous women who have designed and/or fronted campaigns for the eyewear company, including Gigi Hadid and Eva Mendes.
