The Street Style Crowd At New York Fashion Week Wore Lots Of Yellow Outerwear

It's fashion's favorite mood booster

by Maria Bobila

We're three days into New York Fashion Week, and the street style crowd isn't slowing down anytime soon. Showgoers experienced plenty of sunshine on Sunday, which might have inspired their outfits, too. Among the usual animal prints and statement accessories was another standout trend: the bright and vibrant color yellow. We saw this cheery hue mainly in the form of outerwear, from tailored coats to short and stylish jackets.

In addition to the fun color story at NYFW, other highlights from the day included Tory Burch, who presented her Fall 2020 collection at Sotheby's (where a few Navarro Cheer girls were in attendance, as well); Chromat, which took on activewear with a fitness-inspired presentation; and Hayley Williams as the surprise performer for Collina Strada's rager of a runway show.

With only a few more days left of fashion week, the weather isn't looking too promising in New York, with the forecast predicting rain and clouds for the next two days. But the shows must go on! We're taking it as a sartorial challenge for the fashion crowd to bring out their most creative outfits yet.

Check out all of our favorite street style looks from day three of New York Fashion Week, below.
