Paris Jackson Just Brought Back This MySpace Hair Trend

Only Paris Jackson could revive a hair trend from the MySpace era and proceed to make it look cool. The musician and activist debuted multicolored pastel highlights at the amfAR gala last night, and it felt like a fresh take on the popular throwback look.

She showcased the range of shades with a casual half-up, half-down 'do. We spotted shades of burgundy, turquoise, lavender, and a few strands of pink—which, dialed up to their fullest, saturated potential, would fit right in at an early aughts Warped tour concert. What makes the look so good is that it seamlessly blends with Jackson's reddish-brown hair, and peeks out like a curtain of color.

It made for a dreamy combination when paired with matching monochrome makeup—which featured various shades of brown topped off with an ultra-glossy lip. The entire look was very boho-chic, and left me with one question: Is it time I consider pastel highlights too?
