Taylor Swift Just Filed To Trademark Her Cat Benjamin Button

Welcome to the family!

Taylor Swift has filed a trademark for her newest cat, Benjamin Button, which she adopted during the filming of her "ME!" music video.

Apparently, trademark papers are just as important as adoption papers in the Swift household. The singer has already trademarked her other two cats, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, so it was an obvious next step for Swift's newest addition to the family.

According to TMZ, she's trying to trademark the phrase "Meredith, Olivia & Benjamin Swift" for use on merchandise. The article notes that the filing would clear Swift to make things like "clothing and phone accessories, toys, luggage, home furnishings, key rings, arts and crafts kits, ornaments, glassware, coloring books, magazines," and more. Meredith and Olivia already have their own merch, which Swift unveiled last year. It consisted of products like coin purses, necklaces, and pajamas.

Regardless of what the products actually are, they'll no doubt be perfect for any cat lady. And, since Swift's cat babies are so cute, the designs won't have to try too hard to be covetable. All to say: Get your wallets ready.
