Winnie Harlow taught us a very vital fall style hack at a dinner celebrating her collaboration with KKW Beauty: how to perfectly pair a slip dress and a turtleneck. Here's your transitional weather go-to outfit.
The model showed up at the dinner on Thursday, held at L'Avenue at Saks in New York City at the tail end of NYFW, wearing a ballerina pink, floor-length slip dress with a thigh-high slit. Underneath was a sheer, skin-tight turtleneck in a matching light pink tone. Both pieces are by designer Jonathan Simkhai.
To make her look even more monochrome, her eye makeup was also a similar shade of pink, which may be from the KKW x WINNIE palette. Sparkly silver jewelry and rhinestoned shoes finished off the look.
I don't know about you, but the lowering temperatures had me bummed that I would have to put away the summer essentials in my wardrobe to make room for the warmer stuff, but, thanks to this look, it's now clear that I can keep some of my favorite pieces in the rotation. Although, I might need a bigger closet.
