ACROSS THE BOARD

Beginning skaters usually start with a long board, though when I started riding, I was a little disappointed with that fact. Although it's great for learning and fun to ride, a long board wasn't exactly the tuck-it-under-my-arm skateboard that I'd dreamed of wheeling all over town.
Roxy must have had a similar feeling, so they made some long boards that take advantage of the board's larger size - and plastered them with cool art and photos, some of them from their pro surf champion Kassia Meador.
More advanced skaters can try them out, too - the regular sized ones are also part of their lineup, although I'm not quite ready to ride them around yet. Sigh.
