A lot of great things came out of Alexander Wang’s Fall 2018 collection, the last time he would present a “traditional” runway show (I mean, are his shows ever traditional?) during New York Fashion Week. There was the return of the banana clip, the Swarovski-encrusted sandwich baggies, and, well, the whole “staging an ‘80s power woman-themed collection in the deserted old Times Square Vanity Fair offices” thing.
But what about those slightly small, slightly rectangular stark black shades that cheekily read “CEO” on each arm? Lucky for us, we’ll be able to snag them for ourselves next week. Wang collaborated with the South Korean eyewear label Gentle Monster on an exclusive range of sunnies, including the very pair seen on the runway and in an additional red and yellow colorway.

If you’re not already familiar with Gentle Monster, the brand is best known for its peculiar and unconventional shapes and has become a favorite amongst celebrities like Beyoncé and Bella Hadid, and even Tilda Swinton, who collaborated with the brand last year.
The shades will be available online at AlexanderWang.com and Alexander Wang and Gentle Monster stores worldwide come September 8 for $295 a pop.
