Ashton Kutcher’s New Sitcom ‘The Ranch’ Is Basically An R-Rated ‘That ’70s Show’ Reunion

no one said going back home was easy

Life in the country is hilariously tough. At least, it seems that way from the trailer for Ashton Kutcher's new Netflix sitcom, The Ranch. The show reunites Kutcher and his That '70s Show co-star Danny Masterson, this time as brothers helping their dad (Sam Elliott) man the family ranch back in Colorado. The setup is classic: Kutcher comes home after fifteen years away from the family, nursing a bruised ego as a failed semipro football player. Once there, he'll reconnect with the people he left behind, and yes, eventually himself. Although it's set up like a traditional multi-cam sitcom—laugh track and cheesy one-liners included—the twist here is that characters say bad words because, on Netflix, there are no rules. The Ranch drops April 1.
