ASOS May Start Showing What Clothes Look Like On Different Bodies

It’s a huge step in the right direction

by Hafeezah Nazim

Ordering clothes online can be complicated. On one hand, you've got the luxury of purchasing from the comfort of your own home without dressing room or checkout lines. On the other, you'll never know how the item will look on you until you receive it, especially if you, like most of us, aren't the same size and height as the model wearing it. But now, it looks that ASOS is looking to change the latter by showcasing models with different body types wearing the same clothes, so you no longer have to guess how the items will look on you. Genius.

The change was pointed out by Twitter user @ejhc13, who provided screenshots of three different models wearing the same dress. The U.K.-based online retailer confirmed the news in response to her tweet, telling customers to "keep your eyes peeled as this rolls out across our app."

There's no word as to when the change will be complete across the board. But when it does, we'll be ready for it.
