In designing the holiday 2014 collection for his brand-new Beautiful Fül line—a contemporary menswear brand already gaining traction with the likes of Usher, Cash Warren, and Jeremy Piven—Alejandro Rodriguez decided to draw inspiration from the man in the mirror.

"For my past collections, the theme was always decided by a certain time period, a location, or a story," Rodriguez says. "I wanted to show something more personal than that this time. I didn’t want to seem like using these stories was my crutch, so this season I decided to use a different source of inspiration. Me."

Based in downtown L.A., Beautiful Fül produces its clothing locally with top-notch manufacturers. It shows in the distressed jeans, Western shirts, denim trucker jackets, cotton tees, and badass motorcycle jackets included in the new collection. Rodriguez's clothes have a distinct rocker feel that's edgy yet casual. Pair his Leather Moto Jacket ($1,350) with some distressed jeans, and you'll tell the world you're a tough guy who's not trying too hard. That's a good story for any man to tell.
