CAT EYE

the purr-fect mascara. yeah, we went there.

Thanks to years of Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, and Michael Kors, along with Sophia Loren and her cat-eyed sex appeal, cats have never really left the runways. But lately, the fashion world has been taking their feline worship to literal extremes - like Miu Miu's Spring 2010 collection, which featured a ubiquitous kitten print that spawned tons of knockoffs - and gave new meaning to the term "catwalk."

Now, the makeup counter is getting their paws wet with the new Panthera mascara.  It's the debut product from Ultraflesh, a brand-new line created to solve all of our beauty dilemmas, one by one. First up? Annoying, clumpy lashes. The jet-black mascara manages to define our lashes while making them seem longer and thicker, thanks to a dual comb-brush combo. But the best part is that it doesn't cause our lashes to feel super-stiff, even if we put on more than one coat.

It seems only fitting that the sleek black tube is topped off with a fierce Panther head. After all, what better way to stand out from the rest of the cat pack?
