CHVRCHES appeared as special guests on this week's episode of The Mortified Podcast, a show in which adults are forced to find the most embarrassing and awkward pieces from their childhoods, including but not limited to love letters, poems, and diary entires. The latest episode featured a new segment called “The Mortified Muse," during which musical guests are challenged to transform mortifying written words from adolescence into actual songs. For the first entry, CHVRCHES was given a love poem written by contributor Nat Miller when he was 14 years old about his crush, Laurel. The result is a performance that is both charming and cringe-inducing.
