Gigi Hadid may be a taken woman, but that doesn't mean that she's off-limits for prom season. Daniel "Damn, Daniel" Lara has been taking full advantage of his viral fame, and his allegiance with Ellen DeGeneres. Lara and his partner-in-crime, Josh Holz, made a second appearance on DeGeneres' talk show to recap their first time on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards. In addition to asking Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. to sign both of their yearbooks, Lara bulked up the courage to ask Hadid to his prom.
Her initial reaction was a smile before she proceeded to ask when the event was happening, which Lara said would be in about two weeks. "Possibly," she said. "I'll ask Z, we'll see." Afterward, they took some goofy selfies on Snapchat.
Not exactly your standard "yes," but at least she didn't turn down the invitation. Even though Lara is only a freshman in high school, he can dare to dream big. Hopefully, Hadid will check in with Zayn and get back to him soon. Watch it all go down in the video, below.
