There's only one more episode left until the
Girls
season three finale, and they're not slowing down one bit. Especially in the poor life choices department, and
especially
in Marnie's case. Throughout this season each of the girls have taken turns playing antagonist-- and while Hannah (with insecure relationship issues), Shoshanna (with her beachhouse meltdown), and Jessa (ahem, the whole Jasper thing) haven't exactly held back, this week Marnie took things over the edge.
See our favorite--and by favorite, we mean most awkward--moments in the gallery!
Best Cameo: Veteran actress Louise Lasser, who delivered arguably the most heartfelt line of the show. "I hate watching television because all the old women are shells...and it just hurts to be a shell."
Life Lesson: Being self-centered doesn't work. Like, ever. All of the girls are perfect examples of this, but here, Hannah really takes the cake. She's just quit her job, she's worried about her relationship, and, as Shosh puts it best, "I mean, like, Adam's about to be on Broadway, and like Marnie's clearly gonna be a pop star, and I don't know, you were supposed to be the famous artist in this group and now you're just working in advertising, so..."
WTF Moment: Basically everything that Marnie does. First, Jessa got the job working the archives for BD. Then she got rejected by Desi. Then she gets walked in while she's hooking up with Ray--by none other than Hannah and Adam. Sorry, Marnie...your downward spiral is clearly not stopping.
Best Outfit: Soo-Jins floral jumpsuit. Enough said?
Best Quote: "Do you think we were gonna grow up and be in a sweatshop factory for puns? Maybe this is a cooler for dead souls."- Hannah
