GOING DIGITAL

the focus is on flickr and tumblr at this photo show.

Thanks to sites like Flickr or blogs like FFFFOUND!, we're bordering on online photo overload (who has time to wade through hundreds of pages of images, anyway?). But a new NYC art show does the legwork for us by presenting the best of the best in digital photography.

G/IRL (Girls In Real Life) showcases the work of 12 up-and-coming female photographers who use social media and the internet to promote their work. And these aren't your basic Facebook photos. Instead, the real-life internet stars present a collection of images that are beautiful, inspiring, and downright bizarre.

And even if you're not in NYC, don't worry. You can still get in on the action online.

In an exhibit that's all about the internet, what else would you expect?
