HAPPILY EVER TWITTER
help tim burton write his book, in 140 characters or less.
Thanks to Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and Alice and Wonderland, we're no stranger to Tim Burton's signature trippy-cool style. But for his latest tale, the writer and director wants his fans to join in on the action...through Twitter.
Recently Burton posted online the opening line of a story that centers around his iconic character, Stainboy. Starting today, readers can write in their own plots by tweeting as many times as they'd like. And while Burton picks the best submissions to appear as part of the story on the website, it's also fun to look at the thousands of submissions below as they're constantly uploaded in real time.
Is this what happens when "choose your own adventure" novels meet the internet? Whatever it is, we're psyched.
