The Purpose Of A Proofreader Was Lost On Justin Bieber’s Tour Merch

what’s your purose?

by Hayden Manders

Justin Bieber kicked off his Purpose World Tour with some Satan and a misspelling. The merchandise he's shilling is rife with Kanye West-inspired-by-Vetements influence. Many of the items feature an innocent-looking Bieber, gazing out into the abyss from the wearer's torso. There's plenty of religious iconographies, too. Oh, and one misspelled item. Yikes!

The offending article features a quote from Proverbs 19:21. It reads, "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is God's purose that prevails." The mistake is glaring, for Proverbs 19:21 talks about God's purpose, not his purose (whatever that may be). Bieber's team pulled the item, but not before Twitter got a hold of it. Is it too late now to give the Beliebers a "Sorry" tank top?
