beauty queen: olivia wilde

did somebody say smokey eyes?!

by rebecca willa davis

There's the subtle smokey eye. And then there's the smokey smokey eye--the one you pull out on Friday nights, or when you know you're going to see an ex, or basically anytime anything sparkly is involved.

And no one does it better than Olivia Wilde. At yesterday's screening of Drinking Buddies in L.A., the actress paired a rocker tee-skirt combo with Jason Sudeikis on her arm and some seriously metallic shadow on her lids. We've broken down her makeup look, but you're on your own with getting a funny guy.

SMOKE IT: Revlon Custom Eyes Shadow & Liner in Smoky Sexy - $8.99

This palette has all you need for getting a not-just-black smokey eye. Start with black around the yes, but then blend the gray and blue across the lid, with the pearl along the browbone.

CONCEAL IT: Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer - $30

Once you've applied the shadow, cover up dark circles with this under-eye concealer. (Do it before and you'll get pigment stuck in it.)

CHEEK IT: Too Faced Snow Bunny Luminous Bronzer - $30

For that perfect blush-bronzer-illuminator hybrid, use a big brush and apply this up along your cheekbones.
