premiere: amber “kites”

The five piece outfit Amber came together, as all great English bands do, at university. We often wonder if the Brits go to school for anything other than to just assemble kick-ass bands and take over the music scene one-by-one. Seriously, the oldest member in this band is 20 years old but listening to them you'd think they came up playing Arlene's and Siné with Jeff Buckley. If this jam is any indicator of what their new EP Noah is gonna sound like, sign us up. On this "Kites" track there's a real spacious vibe akin to that of Texas band Explosions in the Sky, and like we said you'll definitely hear the likes of Jeff Buckley or maybe a bit of Tom Odell in the vocal harmonies.
