Rihanna Stole The Sartorial Spotlight At The ‘Valerian’ Premiere

Rihanna plays shape-shifter Bubble in the upcoming buzzed about sci-fi thriller, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, out this Friday. Her part is, reportedly, very small. But that didn’t stop her from stealing the spotlight at the premiere last night.

The singer showed up in a millennial pink Giambattista Valli Couture off-the-shoulder baby doll gown with a train designed for an interstellar queen. She topped off the look with a pair of custom lace-up Manolo Blahnik heels. Rih posed pretty on the black carpet while doing what she does best: being the flyest of them all.

She posted pictures of her look on Instagram last night with very Bad Gal-like captions: “when u show up uninvited.” and “spam.”

Rihanna had our attention for the night, but Cara Delevingne, who stars in the film, also came to slay in a futuristic Iris van Herpen Couture metallic dress and old-school finger waves.

Together, they were a cosmic couture couple from the future.
