Stephen Curry Reads Jimmy Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets”

shake it off, ballers

Last night, Stephen Curry led his Golden State Warriors to an overtime victory in the first game of the NBA Finals, despite LeBron James’ 44 points for the Cleveland Cavilers. That’s great and all, but this morning, wouldn’t you rather just see some of those same scorers read back some of the social-media fire flung at them on Jimmy Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets” series? Yes, you would.

Here, we’ve got 2015 playoff stars Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, Tony Parker, and Jimmy Butler, as well as finals players Draymond Green, Steph Curry, and Andrew Bogut reading the worst things said about them on Twitter. On top of that, Kimmel got ‘90s legends/current TV analysts Magic Johnson, Jalen Rose, Jeff van Gundy, Mark Jackson, and Reggie Miller to contribute (LOL JvG). It’s funny, sure, but there are some hard truths here.
