The Teaser For Season 2 Of ‘The Crown’ Has Arrived

Let the royal mania continue

In The Crown news, the very good show, that's likely somewhat responsible for Netflix’s $20 billion dollar deficit, is coming back for a second season, and the teaser trailer just dropped today.

The first season of The Crown started out slow but ramped up the drama toward the end. We won’t spoil anything (although it is based on true events, soooo), but it came mostly at the hands of the rebellious Princess Margaret and Prince Philip. From the looks of it, the two are still stirring up some trouble and pushing back on Queen Elizabeth II and the monarchy she’s adamant on preserving.

“I’ve learned more about humiliation in the past few weeks than I hoped I would in a lifetime,” Claire Foley, who plays the queen, says sternly. She’s also dealing with a host of not-up-to-the-task prime ministers. Nobody said being an heir was fun! The second season airs December 8. But, not to worry, there’s plenty of royal content (read: lots of Princess Diana documentaries) in the meantime to keep you busy.
