Great news, single ones. Tinder and Instagram swiped right on each other's profile, started some flirty banter, went out for a few craft beverages, and are officially an item. With its latest update, Tinder has done the obvious by integrating Instagram directly into its interface so you can see the last 34 photos of a match's IG feed. It's a no-brainer move because more and more Tinder users were already including their IG handles in their profiles, and also because now you'll spend even more time on Tinder than you already were.
For those of you who've never used Tinder, until now you could only see a limited number of photos on people's profiles that were directly linked to their Facebook account. This led to some haphazardly curated profiles. Now, people will be able to present their pristine lives through the gauzy gaze of Instagram filters. Hooray!
Another update to TInder, which we're not as excited about and which should have less of an impact, is that you'll be able to see mutual friends of varying degrees. Friends of friends, if you will, which Tinder is referring to as "first and second degree connections."
This of course comes on the heels of Tinder's last major update which happened only last month. You know what this means, right?
Tinder is taking over the world.
