song premiere: torches

press play. chill out. repeat.

by jannah berkley

Last month Torches played to a sold out crowd with Moving Units in Los Angeles. But for those who haven't caught the L.A. band live (yet), they're about to brighten up our Monday with their new single "Endlessly Repeating." These guys know how to make a driving-with-the-top-down jam, that's for sure. With subtle harmony and heart-thumping drum solos, the title track off their forthcoming EP is a breath of indie-rock fresh air.

And as for the story behind the title? Besides the fact that you'll want to put it on repeat pretty much immediately, "We're all trying to make sense of where we are,” they explain. “If you repeat something enough, you'll eventually find it all to be true. After a while you get used to being let down, but everything changes. The future looks good from here."

Listen to the track below and don't forget to grab the full EP when it drops June 17th!
