Watch Tyler the Creator Attempt to Rap Dr. Seuss, and Fail

One would think that converting the rhymes from Dr. Seuss’ recently unearthed and published book, What Pet Should I Get?, into flowing rap bars would be (literally) child’s play for a talent the likes of Tyler the Creator. One would think.

Last night, Tyler took to Jimmy Kimmel Live dressed in a Cat in the Hat suit and, well, you just have to click play and see for yourself. Somewhere children are crying and the kindly ghost of Theodore “Dr. Suess” Geisel sports a knowing grin.
