Valery Gore isn't the type to make your run-of-the-mill pop music, so why should her videos be any different? After all, the Toronto songbird has worked tirelessly over the years to master her avant-garde sound, and it comes to fruition on her new LP Idols In The Dark Heart. The album is four years in the making, and it's a study in contrasts: packed with spacey beats, breathy vocals, and floaty melodies that somehow remain grounded in their pop foundation.
