Cardi B Paired A Power Lip With A Pixie Cut

A signature Cardi B hairstyle has returned. For her appearance on the Spring 2021 XXL cover, Cardi B went back to short hair.
The shortened pixie style comes as Cardi B continues to regularly swap out her usual hair routine. Along with a pastel pink take on the pixie trend, she previously sported an impressive look created by Tokyo Stylez, which featured the use of six wigs.
It doesn’t appear as if the XXL shoot required quite as many wigs, but the look is definitely just as memorable. For her multiple outfit changes, Cardi B was photographed with a closely cropped pixie cut. The shiny, slicked down style ended a few inches above her shoulders. The hair was parted deeply to one side, and a few pieces were left out to frame the sides of her face. As for the stylist responsible, Tokyo Stylez was tagged in Instagram images from the day’s shoot.
Her chosen makeup proved just as glamorous, and Cardi B wore black liner extended out into tiny wings, along with red lipstick. According to an Instagram post from makeup artist, Erika LaPearl, Cardi B’s lip color was created using Pat McGrath Labs LiquiLUST™️: Legendary Wear Liquid Matte Lipstick in the shade ELSON 4. For the eyes, LaPearl used shadows from Pat McGrath’s Mothership IV Decadence, along with Permanent Ultra Glide Eye Pencil in the hue Black Coffee.
