
Once the doors opened last Friday night at NYLON House, partygoers begain immediately pouring in, eager to catch a glimpse of the hottest brands and watch the best DJs turn up the energy. Fashion insiders and beauty lovers were buzzing about presenting sponsor Matrix’s expansive immersive experience, which set the tone with a larger-than-life screen featuring clips of pop powerhouse, KATSEYE, recently unveiled as the brand’s Global Brand Ambassadors. The space invited guests to play and explore, with photo-ready moments, a cotton candy station, prize-filled claw machines, and playful nods to soft, touchable hair — including a whimsical teddy bear wall and a striking backlit avocado display spotlighting their Food For Soft Multi-Use Hair Oil.
But the highlight of the night was when KATSEYE themselves made an appearance — in the flesh and fresh off their festival performance — to celebrate their partnership with Matrix and their turn as the latest cover stars of NYLON’s Music Issue. Fans swooned as Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung posed for photos from swooning fans and made a special pit stop at the Matrix activation while, as always, serving major hair inspo.
Partygoers left with a full-sized bottle of the brand’s coveted hair oil, taking a piece of the experience (and its seriously hydrating, avocado oil-infused formula) home with them.
