Nicki Minaj’s Best Beauty Moments Are Full Of Bold, Colorful Wigs

A look back at her most iconic looks.

For one of her first major hair color moments, Nicki Minaj went for a bold shade of green, tinted with blue. She also matched the look to her eye makeup.

Minaj didn't have to decide on one singular color for this hairstyle. Instead, she dyed the ends of her blonde hair in five different colors.

Perhaps taking a cue from her colorful accessories, Minaj chose shades of bright pink and yellow for this layered updo. She also kept some of her signature blonde, and applied a few streaks of pink.

Although part of her hair remained traditional colors — blonde and black — Minaj turned shaved sides of this sculptural style into a a continuation of her leopard print outfit.

Minaj mixed and matched with this look, splitting her hair into blonde and blue sections. She also extended the blue to the other side, dying her blonde ends.

Minaj wore cotton candy-inspired shades for this 2012 video with Cassie. Her short, bright blue hair included ends tinted with pink and roots of a similar shade.

Minaj went mostly yellow for this curly, voluminous style, but she did add a few additional touches of color. Look closely and you'll note hints of bubblegum pink.

This look didn't feature the use of creative color, but it was still a major look. Minaj was back to blonde for these voluminous curls, letting dark brown roots show through.

Minaj switched things up for the 2016 Met Gala. Going with long black wavy hair, she added a contrasting color with bleach blonde highlights.

Reminiscent of her 2011 dye job, Minaj mixed blonde with pink for the 2017 VMAs. Thanks to a deep middle part, the colors were evenly split.

In 2019, Minaj tried out a shade of blush-pink. The light color matched her Met Gala outfit, and her choice of colorful eyeshadow.

The "Trollz" video contained some of Minaj's most colorful looks ever, including this black and blonde wig that featured lined sections dyed rainbow.
