Keke Palmer Dressed Up As A Very Chic Chanel Bag

Dianna Agron, Marisa Tomei, and more also showed out

by Allison Stubblebine

Chanel has always made preppy-chic clothes, but these stars really sold the trend to us at the Through Her Lens/Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program Luncheon on Monday afternoon in New York. Keke Palmer basically transformed herself into an iconic Chanel bag by layering black-on-black quilted apparel, pulling it all together with a nameplate belt.

Some attendees demonstrated why wearing all the white after Labor Day is a great idea; Dianna Agron layered a variety of textures to create a cozy white 'fit, accessorizing with a feathery handbag and keeping it simple with a fresh face and rose-hued lip. Others let a single pop of color do the talking, like Zazie Beetz and Zosia Mamet with bright coral, as well as Katie Holmes and Amber Tamblyn with a standout orange.

Take a closer look at all the best style from the Chanel luncheon below.

Amber Tamblyn matching her pants to her lip color is a bold move, and I'm taking notes.

Katie Holmes is teaching us all a lesson in how to dress up a basic white t-shirt.

Angela Simmons' bountiful pearls plus Keke Palmer's all-over quilted black is setting the bar for all high-fashion besties.

Would love if Zosia Mamet could send me the deets on these leather trousers. They're a need, not a want.

Kaitlyn Dever's pastel makeup pairs so well with this classic frock.

Jemima Kirke's outfit is something I wouldn't mind cozying up in all winter long. So fuzzy!
