Fenty Beauty Is Promising Lashes Like Rihanna With Its First Mascara

This is not a drill

Rihanna knows we're all in our feelings waiting for new music, so she's making up for it in other ways. In an Instagram post shared on Jan. 7, Rihanna's beauty brand announced that a Fenty Beauty mascara (its first-ever!) is finally on the way — and fans don't have to wait long to get their hands on a tube. According to the post, the Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl mascara ($24) is dropping on Jan. 16 and will be available online at Fenty Beauty and in-store, and online at Sephora, Harvey Nichols, and Boots UK.

As its name would suggest, the mascara promises to volumize, lift, lengthen, and curl the lashes for "full-on, fanned-out lashes," according to the brand. The water-resistant, long-wearing mascara will debut with one true black shade, aptly named "Cuz I'm Black," and a unique, flat-to-fat brush applicator, designed to deliver Rihanna's very own full lash look. The fat side holds max product to quickly load and lift lashes, while the flat side defines and curls. According to the brand, Full Frontal will build easily too, giving you plenty of room to play around with layers and definition to create the look you want.

Unsurprisingly, the comments section of Fenty Beauty's announcement post has gone wild, with most fans commenting on how long they've waited for a mascara from the brand. "This is ALMOST better than getting an album!!!!! Almost!" shared one commenter, while another said, "It's about damn time." Rihanna even herself commented herself saying, "It's OVER for these folks! OVAAAAAAA," accompanied by three extremely appropriate flexing emojis.
