Leighton Meester Designed The Perfect Sustainable Jumpsuit To Wear 24/7
I want to do so many cartwheels in this
Leighton Meester has your effortless summer go-to outfit totally locked down. Today, the actress-singer launched her collaboration with sustainable designer Christy Dawn, and it consists of one very perfect jumpsuit in three colors.
Dubbed "The Leighton Jumper," the breezy garment is inspired by the Matilda character Miss Honey. Made from deadstock fabric, the jumpsuits are entirely sustainable, sewn in Los Angeles, and feature a tailored silhouette up top, flared pants, a scoop back, and a teeny bow in the front. The best part of all? Hundred percent of proceeds from the $308 piece go to the Downtown Women's Center, an organization which aids homeless women.
Meester shared in the press release about partnering with Christy Dawn: "As a conscious consumer, I seek out companies that are female-led and mission-driven. As they say, each dollar we spend is a vote cast toward the type of world we want to live in." She added, "My heart goes out to all of our LA women burdened with housing insecurity. I am thrilled to get behind any opportunity to raise funds to support this important organization and cause. I am excited to be creating something beautiful for women and by women, that supports other women."
