Opening Ceremony And Columbia Are Bringing Back The '80s With New Collaboration

Bubblegum pink and leopard print... what more could you want?

by Allison Stubblebine

Opening Ceremony's newest collaboration with Columbia brings the best assortment of pastels and neons, with just the right dash of leopard, for spring. Even more excitingly, for the first time ever, the collaboration includes footwear—a boot with bubblegum pink details—perfect for hiking up a mountain... or just up the subway staircases.

According to a press release from the brands, the collection was designed to pay homage to Columbia's design archives. The purple iridescent anorak is reminiscent of those '80s windbreakers you wish your mom kept. The designs also come in matching sets (though you can purchase the items separately), so you can rock that ombre parka with those hot pink cargo shorts, hat with ear and neck flaps, and fanny pack.

The spring collection is available to shop today via Opening Ceremony online, as well as four Opening Ceremony stores—in New York flagship, New York Ace Hotel, Los Angeles, and Tokyo—in addition to Columbia's flagship in Portland, Oregon, and branded store in Chicago.
