It's been a minute since we heard some noise from Ab-Soul. Earlier this month, the California-based rapper dropped an album on TDE, titled Do What Thou Wilt., and reclaimed his status as a living, breathing hip-hop legend in the making. For this complex record, Ab-Soul drew inspiration directly from powerful women in his life, like his mother. We recently spent some time with him to learn more about the process that went into his album, the forbidden fruits in his life, and why he wants to make his mom proud.
