Amanda Bynes' very public battle with mental illness has been marred with tabloid rumors and quiet restraint. She's kept a low profile in the years since her run-ins with the law and hospitalizations, taking time for herself and recovery. Now, it appears, she's ready to reclaim her career with a revived drive.

Sitting down for her first proper interview in four years, Bynes lays down her goal to start a fashion line after her time spent studying at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. "Other than that," she goes on, "I hike, I take spinning classes, I feed the homeless, [which] has been very interesting and fun." Bynes doesn't shy away from her past controversies with Twitter and drugs, announcing she's been sober for three years.

She adds that she's itching to get back into the acting game, too. "I do miss acting," she tells Hollyscoop's Diana Madison. "I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it." We look forward to her continued success and well-being.
