editor’s pick: the del rey way

why dressing like the singer will never get old.

by steff yotka

After seeing this rad art for Lana Del Rey's new album, Ultraviolence, on our Instagram this morning, one thing became clear to me: Lana Del Rey is my summer style icon...sort of.

While I'm probably not going to ditch ponytails for pompadours or donning flower crowns any time soon, the singer's wardrobe of cutoffs, American-inspired tees, and '60s dresses is basically a cooler version of how I dress now. So if you need me this weekend, I'll be busy watching Del Rey's addictive music videos (especially "Ride") for hours getting inspiration...and wearing these adorable American flag socks. Gotta put my best, Lana-fied foot forward!
