The ‘Baby Driver’ Trailer Is Your Intro To This Summer’s Most Exciting Movie

It's been four whole years since Edgar Wright released a film, but after screening his latest creation, Baby Driver, for a very lucky SXSW audience, the consensus is that the visionary director hasn't missed a beat. Now we have a trailer for what just became one of the most anticipated films of the year.

Baby Driver stars Ansel Elgort as the titular getaway driver, who constantly listens to music to drown out an incessant ringing in his ears, a condition he picked up after a childhood accident. According to those who've seen the film, music plays a huge role, with some calling it "La La Land with car chases." And boy, are there a lot of car chases.

This movie just looks like a ton of fun and has all the ingredients needed to become a breakout hit. Elgort leads a star-studded cast that also includes Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Lily James, and Kevin Spacey as a local crime boss. We also have a cult director at the height of his powers and a visually stunning first trailer that should keep the hype machine revving up until Baby Driver's August 11 release.
