The Radio City Rockettes are a holiday staple, especially if you’re from out of town and visiting New York. (Ask actual New Yorkers, though, and they’ll tell you they avoid anywhere above 14th Street like the plague after Thanksgiving.)
Still, though: You can’t think of the city during the Christmas and not think of these iconic leg-raising dancers—and we don’t throw around the word "iconic" lightly.
To get to know these festive darlings a little better, we went backstage before one of their many shows (they perform up to four a day!) to witness their getting-ready process and to get a little more personal with the ladies.
