The Best Products To Deep-Clean Your Skin From Head To Toe

Post-exfoliation me is the best me

by Bailey Calfee

There's nothing like a transitional season to make me want to completely reinvent myself. Once my wardrobe shifts from summer to winter, or vice versa, I'm a completely new person—at least for a little while, before I realize my life is the same it's always been, save a change in the weather.

The same, I could say, is true when I treat myself to a total body deep-cleanse. I always feel like a new person when I step out of the shower post-exfoliation, or after I wash a face mask off. And some products, I've found, make me feel new every single time I use them, if only for a moment. And once I'm back to reality, I feel more ready to take on the world.

Below are the best products around that I've found for getting this full body deep clean. Get to scrubbin'!

Milk claims its charcoal cleanser "purifies" the face, and if that doesn't make you want to wash your face with it twice daily, I don't know what will.

Milk Makeup, Charcoal Cleanser, $28, available at Milk Makeup.

Not only does this gel provide much-needed moisture to the face, but the added activated black charcoal absorbs toxins during the day.

Boscia, Revitalizing Black Charcoal Hydration Gel, $40, available at Sephora.

NYLON uses affiliate links and may earn a commission if you purchase something through those links, but every product chosen is selected independently.

This is a mask and exfoliant in one. Swipe it on, wait a few minutes, then rub it in before washing it all off to rid the face of dead skin and impurities.

Innisfree, Refining Gommage Mask With Green Barley, $13, available at Innisfree.

Is it just me, or does a full body exfoliation leave everyone feeling like an entirely new person? These "sugar cubes" get the job done without the mess of a traditional scrub.

Harper + Ari, Exfoliating Sugar Cubes in Rosé, $24, available at Nordstrom.

Your scalp is skin, and it needs to be exfoliated just like the rest of your body. This shampoo has an exfoliant built right in, so you can make sure your hair and scalp get the deep-clean treatment.

amika, Reset Exfoliating Jelly Shampoo, $25, available at Sephora.

As someone whose feet get a little too ticklish when I break out a pumice stone, I opt for a more relaxing foot soak to reset after a few weeks of being constantly on the move.

Lush, Foot Soak And Fancy Free, $7.95, available at Lush.
