best dressed: march 2014
see who made the cut.
Making the March-to-April wardrobe transition is never easy--I always end up parting with my sweaters too soon and then getting stuck in 40 degree weather in shorts and Keds. Not ideal.
This year I'm taking some tips from our Best Dressed stars of March, who have mastered the art of in-between dressing. From Kate Mara's minidress paired with a cargo jacket to Scarlett Johansson's fiery suit, there's a lot of inspiration to be had.

As a Canadian Tuxedo loyalist, I truly believe you can never have too much denim--whether it's in the form of pants, jackets, shorts, vests, hats...you get the picture. Leave it to Kate Mara to make the jean-on-jean classic a billion times more glam in her dress and jacket combo. New summer look? I say yes. -- Liza Darwin, Senior Web Editor
January Jones is always killing it in the fashion department, but this is one of my favorite looks. The dress is an outfit all by itself: it's classic but cool and it doesn't need extra styling. I'd love to have a few dresses like this in rotation come summer! -- Liz Riccardi, Digital Design Director
By far the classiest look of March, and maybe of 2014. -- Steff Yotka, Associate Web Editor
It screams Go Bold or Go Home!! The clutch is so much fun and the suit although menswear inspired strikes the perfect balance of femininity. -- Rosalva Casanova, Web Intern
It's not in me to match anything with anything. But, if you're going to do it, you have to mix it up with some textures and patterns, and show a little skin to break things up. That is exactly why I think Jamie Chung looks 100-percent here. #Jeally -- Jackie Yaeger, Newsletter Editor
