OLFACTORY GIRL
WHAT IS IT:
WHY I LOVE IT:
Vince Camuto Femme, the third fragrance created for women, is hands-down my favorite one thus far. Blended with top notes of citruses and pink pepper, middle notes of jasmine, rose, and iris, with base notes of patchouli, vetiver, amber, vanilla, and musk, the scent is both woody and oriental--a dangerous combination if mixed poorly--but trust me, this scent nails it. Bonus: the lavender pillow-cushion bottle is designed to be held with ease.
FOR THOSE:
Who want a new scent.

WHAT IS IT:
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Infamous
WHY I LOVE IT:
Leave it to the geniuses at Estee Lauder to formulate the--are you ready for it?--best lipstick ever. There's a few things you need to know about the new 20-piece collection of Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks that just launched this week: 1) Multi-faceted color pigments (seriously, one swipe is all you need) create shape, definition, and volume with shades ranging from nudes to purples to reds. 2) The lipsticks are formulated with a time-release encapsulated moisture complex that contains hyaluronic acid (for extreme hydration) so your lipstick stays on without drying out. 3) The packaging is totally old-school Hollywood glamour with its sleek case, which also contains a magnetic closure for ease and accessibility. I've been feeling less goth and more bubblegum as of late (mostly because of my new hair cut and color), so I've opted for the "Infamous" lipstick--a Barbie pink with hints of berry.

Who want to up their lipstick game.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Loose Glitter Pigment in Sleeping Under a Mandarin Tree
WHY I LOVE IT:
If you're unfamiliar with beauty brand Rouge Bunny Rouge, do yourself a ginormous favor and go check out their website like, right now. Inspired by romanticism and fairy tales, the brand boasts an impressive collection of interesting products--not to mention, awesome packaging--fusing old-school beauty philosophies with modern technology for some seriously smart cosmetics. I have so many favorites from this brand, but one product I just recently discovered has become my latest obsession: Loose Glitter Pigment in Sleeping Under a Mandarin Tree. I use the iridescent golden dust as an eyeshadow and a highlighting tool, but the true beauty of this product is that it isn't your typical loose glitter: The applicator is a sponge-tipped wand enclosed in a tube designed to safely keep the pigments inside (and not all over your clothing), while the formula is so lightweight it doesn't even feel like you're wearing glitter on your face. Magical, indeed.

WHAT IS IT:
Yves Saint Laurent La Laque Couture in N. 14 Violine Surrealiste
WHY I LOVE IT
: As if finding the right purple lipstick wasn't already hard enough, I recently discovered that finding the right purple nail polish for your skin tone is even harder. Dark purples look like black polish, lavender is a total hit or miss, and everything in-between veers into bores-ville. But I finally found the perfect purple in Yves Saint Laurent's La Laque Couture in N. 14 Violine Surrealiste: a mash-up of magenta-fuschia-violet that is my new favorite I-can't-wait-for-spring-to-get-here nail color.

BODY ELECTRIC
WHAT IS IT:
Kat Burki Signature Body Creme in Freesia & Pink Grapefruit
WHY I LOVE IT
: I know I've been featuring a lot of body creams lately, but can you blame me? It's still bitterly cold in NYC and my skin is trying to adapt to the extreme weather changes thrown at it every week. And what's better than keeping your skin hydrated and smelling yummy? (Answer: nothing.) This week's obsession is Kat Burki's Signature Body Creme in Freesia & Pink Grapefruit. Formulated with grapeseed & tamanu oils, cocoa butter, and Vitamin E to help reduce scarring, restore moisture, and leaving your skin silky soft.

Who need a break.

: Oh em gee you guys, Eve Lom is launching cosmetics! The cult skincare brand just whipped up a batch of makeup that is a) good for your skin and b) some of the best face makeup I've ever tried. Mark Hill Gorgeous! Work It Girl! Shine, Protect and Control Spray
WHY I LOVE IT:
I would love nothing more than if someone, every morning, screamed "work it, girl!" at me as I walked down the street on my way to work. But since that doesn't happen (correction: has never happened), I'll have to put up with the Mark Hill Gorgeous! Work It Girl! Shine, Protect and Control Spray instead. But listen, I'm not complaining: this spritz does everything. Not only does it protect hair from heat, but it adds shine, keeps a flexible hold, and even works as a texturizing spray if layered. Not to mention ,the genius hair stylist Mark Hill formulated it and it has leopard print packaging--so like, what are you waiting for?
FOR THOSE:
Who want to have a good hair day.
