Cherry Glazerr’s New Track, Insidious: Chapter 3 Trailer

It's no secret that we're huge fans of Los Angeles indie pop trio Cherry Glazerr. So when we found out that their new track, "Tip Toe Through The Tulips" was going to appear in the Insidious: Chapter 3 movie trailer, we went psycho.

While new to Cherry Glazerr's repertoire, the track itself isn't new to the music world. The NYLON fave band covered Tiny Tim's 1968 rendition of the original "Tip Toe Through The Tulips", released in 1929.

Alone, the Cherry Glazerr "Tip Toe" has elements of dream pop, a hint of eeriness, and a bittersweet sentimentality. Paired with a crawling demon, a séance scene, and a freaky old lady, though (all of which you can find in the trailer for the third installment of the supernatural horror flick, out this May), the song is both incredibly and magically terrifying.

Although we'll have to wait until 2015 to see the film, it's safe to say we'll be re-watching this trailer and playing "Tip Toe Through The Tulips" over and over again this Halloween weekend--and beyond...(the grave, that is).
