THE LOOK:
Helmut Lang
Helmut Lang's killer combo of a textured turtleneck and buttery soft leather pants. While I am freezing my tits off this fashion week, I want nothing more than to slip on this cozy cotton ball sweater and delicious leathers to brave this bitter cold.
THE FACE:
Rag & Bone's Eyeliner
Rag & Bone's flawless "night before" eyeliner, which looks like a cleaned up, Sunday-morning version of your Saturday night standby. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a strong liquid liner, and it just seems economical to reuse last night's application, especially when it was so flawless. Thank you Gucci Westman, for the sensible suggestion.
THE NEWS:
Remember that one time Prabal Gurung’s show was disrupted by a man wearing nothing but animal print panties and a Burger King crown? Thank goodness he covered his chicken finger with that G-string.
THE INSPIRATION
:
Victoria Beckham's NYFW instagram. I mean, she's witty, she's a sample size, she was in Spice World, AND she never smiles. I am so into it. It also helps that she's posting funny behind-the-scenes shots instead of the usual blurry front row runway pics every other celeb is snapping. It's quite refreshing, isn't it?
THE SONG:
"Daddy's Girls" by Natalia Kills
Rebecca Taylor's mashup which included Natalia Kills' indie pop anthem "Daddy's Girls," my new favorite strutting inspiration (even if I'm heading down 2nd Avenue to pick up gum at Duane Reade, and not a runway.)
