Since Lover began back in 2001, the Australian brand has taken inspiration everywhere from Woody Allen to Jimi Hendrix. But their common thread, season after season is an effortless, girly vibe that's more free-spirited than fussy.

For Spring, Susien Chong and Nic Briand seem to be taking cues from ballet flicks like Center Stage or Black Swan-- but obviously with an extra dose of cool. Think lace dresses, flowy maxi-skirts, and tailored blazers paired with sportier pieces (like a cropped sweatshirt) to keep things from being frilly. Our favorite look: A loose-fit ivory silk shirtdress that's polished, sure, but with an easy, wear-everywhere vibe.
