We met Raul Lopez sometime back in 2008 and from the first introduction it was clear that the young designer was set to make his mark in fashion. With his unique aesthetic and larger-than-life persona, the man behind Luar Zepol (yes that's his name backwards) is nothing if not a visionary with a distinct understanding of the discourse the lies between concept and design. Lopez has been making and selling pieces on a special order basis up until a week ago, when he launched his new web shop. The initial offering consists of high-end five panel caps, luxury tanks, and tees. Our favorite is the Grid Face Tank, which has a sort of Bane-meets-Max Headroom vibe to it (we put it on and ended up watching Hackers, true story).
