We here at NYLON know that no holiday party is complete without tasty drinks. And lucky for you, we've teamed up with bartender Ivy Mix, of the Brooklyn cocktail bar Leyenda, to bring you some of the best holiday drink recipes guaranteed to impress all your guests.

"The Holly and The Ivy" is a holiday twist on a classic Cosmopolitan that substitutes citrus vodka with gin. "I really like this drink because it has a really nice pink color," says Mix.

See how to make your own, below.

Ingredients:

  • 1 dash Fee's aromatic bitters
  • 0.25 oz. simple syrup
  • 0.25 oz. orange liqueur
  • 1 oz. Christmas gin
  • 1 spoonful Cranberry preserves
  • 2 oz. Sparkling rosé
  • Grapefruit twist and candy cane for garnish

 Directions:

In a mixing tin, add Fee's aromatic bitters, lemon juice, simple syrup, orange liqueur, Christmas gin, and a heaping bar spoon of cranberry preserves. Add ice, shake, and strain into a coupe and top with sparkling rosé. Garnish with a grapefruit twist and candy cane.
