Choosing between chasing musical greatness at Juilliard or spending your college career with the love of your young life is a difficult decision in and of itself. Throw in a devastating car crash, and the decision on whether to live or die quickly blows all other worries out of the water.
This is what happens when 17-year-old cello prodigy Mia Hall, played by Chloe Grace Moretz, has a massive accident and as a result, floats between an alternate dimension in If I Stay. As a nurse so delicately puts it, "If you live, if you die, it's up to you."
If the new trailer is any indication, the film is a two-hour long tear session. If I Stay comes out August 22nd, so expect to end the summer with puffy inflamed eyes and an empty box of Kleenex.
