Kaia Gerber Rocked Boxers To The CFDA Awards, And We’re Here For It

We've always considered ourselves fans of the pajama dressing trend, so we're excited to see that the next comfy-formal trend is here: the red carpet boxer shorts. And leave it to none other than model-of-the-moment Kaia Gerber to make it a thing.
The 16-year-old wore head-to-toe Alexander Wang (who, casually, happened to be her date) to last night's CFDA Awards in a pretty surprising, but very chic, ensemble.

In a slumber party-meets-fashion soiree move, Gerber paired a cropped button-down with silk boxer-style shorts, sparkly clutch, sheer tights, and heels. With Wang's name emblazoned on each piece of Gerber's outfit—hosiery included—she stunned in, undeniably, the most comfortable attire of the night.
We must say, it's quite an iconic look for one's first CFDA experience. But most importantly, it also validated that you're allowed to have fun with fashion, even in your PJs.
